Countdown to already started

The Emmys are going on right now... but not for me! As I always say: "Live! From every time zone but the one in which it actually occurs!" That's right, though the ceremony is happening right now in L.A., the Emmys are tape-delayed to the West Coast. Grr.

I'm trying not to read or watch any news so I don't spoil myself before the show airs here. Though that's not always enough; the year Patricia Arquette won, the local nightly news showed her holding her award in some teaser footage for their Emmy coverage later... in a commercial that aired before her win had been broadcast in the ceremony. That sucked.
