So much for Positive Thinking Week: HBO has cancelled John From Cincinnati. Which just refreshes my anger at David Milch and HBO for pulling the plug on Deadwood, one of the best TV shows ever, in favor of this surfing show which, as the CNN link above notes, registered such critical reaction as "strange," "weird," and "unlikable." Thanks again for screwing us out of the final season of Deadwood we all deserved in favor of this quickly-cancelled mess.

Now I'll have to say something nice again to make up for this negativity. I like puppies!
