Moon the Loon to be played by... Shrek?

Mike Myers confirmed to play Keith Moon in upcoming film.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I love the Who, and a Keith Moon biopic has fantastic potential. And Myers clearly has a great deal of love for the subject. On the other hand -- it's Mike Myers. He's a little bit beyond the ideal age to play Moon, don't you think? Myers will be 43 this year; Moon died at age 32. And what kind of accent will Myers use to play the part? His Scottish accent, or his Austin Powers "yeah, baby, yeah" accent? Or, perhaps, his other Scottish accent?
